I started meditating in 1988, first with Transcendental Meditation, then following books by Jack Kornfield and Joseph Goldstein (Theravada.) I also studied Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) with Tony Robbins and several other teachers, hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. After meeting Ajahn Sumedho on a train and having a long discussion, I started to go to Amaravati in Hertfordshire, not far from London, UK. Later on I went to Cittaviveka many times too. Ajahn Sumedho was my personal teacher for 13 years at Amaravati, then Ajahn Amaro and Ajahn Sucitto. I drove many senior Theravada monks (and a few nuns) and got to ask them difficult questions! Did about 20 x 10 day retreats and many weekends, mostly at Amaravati. I also have an Indian guru (Advaita Vedanta) called Shiva Rudra Balayogi. Recently I've followed Dhammarato too. Since 2017 I have been living in semi-solitude, with my wife, just a quiet, simple life, with a lot of solitary meditation.
