41M cardiologist, live in south florida, father of 3, have been meditating since I was 11, really got going the past few years when I learned how to meditate while doing slow steady jogging alone, split my "I" recently then split it again by visualizing the emotions/sensations as prison bar cages. Now am able to manipulate them and have gone through things like time dysynchrony. I had no idea about all of this stuff and just had to reverse engineer that it is maybe called dry insight? I approached this from a scientific standpoint and limited religious standpoint and am looking for some direction from here. I even had to lookup what theraveda was, but it is basically identical to what happened. I believe I am supposed to keep going, as I am 90% suppressed on emotions/sensations but not 100%. I am still in shock that this stuff works.
