Haus Tao - Buddhist Meditation Center

Founded in 1986 by Dharmacharya Marcel Geisser the center is situated in the northeast of Swit zerland 1� hours from Zurich Haus Tao is located just 20 minutes by car from St. Gallen at the upper end of Lake Constance and is also easily accessible by public transport. It is located in an exceptionally idyllic valley not far from the town of Thal. The peace and natural beauty of the house and surroundings offer ideal conditions for meditative practice.

The Haus Tao meditation center was purchased in 1986 by Zen master Marcel Geisser and has belonged to the Foundation for Mindful Living since 1996 . Dagmar Jauernig has chaired the foundation since 2022 and also heads the House of Tao.

Haus Tao offers a diverse range of retreats and further training courses.
