Karmê Chöling is a Buddhist meditation retreat center located in beautiful Vermont. We are one of six meditation retreat centers within the Shambhala Buddhist spiritual tradition.

Founded in 1970 by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Karmê Chöling offers year round meditation retreats and yoga retreats. Now, Karmê Chöling is under the leadership of his son, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, head of more than 100 Shambhala Buddhist meditation centers around the world. We have seven retreat cabins, for people interested in a solitary spiritual retreat.
