Nalanda Monastery a Buddhist Monastery in the West

Nalanda is about 40 km from Toulouse in Southwest France. It is situated on a river and surrounded by gardens. It is renowned for its quiet location and harmony. Nalanda was founded in 1981 by Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche as the first Western monastery of the FPMT.
One of the largest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the West, established in 1981 by Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche and located in the South of France.
