Nurnberg Zentrum fur Buddhismus

Welcome to the Nuremberg Buddhist Center! If you would like to learn something about meditation, we recommend that you first visit our information evening on the first Wednesday of every month. At 7:30 p.m. we will explain the basics of Buddhism and then meditate together. The meditation lasts about 30 minutes and is instructed in German. The offer is free.

There are also short lectures before meditation on Fridays at 7:30 p.m. On Mondays and Wednesdays we start meditation right at 8 p.m. We also regularly organize Buddhist courses and offer introductory lectures for school classes and other groups. Didactic handouts for teachers can also be requested.

The Nuremberg Center was founded in 1992 and now has almost 80 members. It is located in approximately 200 square meters, beautifully located between the city park and Wöhrder Lake, with good connections to public transport. 15 to 30 members and guests meet here for meditation evenings. Afterwards there is always an opportunity for questions and conversation or to browse through our small Buddhist library. You're welcome!
