A great companion and wonderful friend of the Respira sangha and of all the people who were fortunate enough to know him Mariano Gimeno has just left us on this physical plane.



He was a free spirit restless and rebellious... with a healthy madness... Mariano had a great quality as a human being... He was not satisfied with just reading books on spirituality as Ramiro Calle says... It is not enough to just wish for the light of a lamp to turn on for this light to turn on you have to hit the switch of practice... Mariano also liked to take things to the end... Not just stay in theory but practice... How many meditations we have shared and also enjoyed his previous and final comments before saying goodbye and going home jokes and pranks because he had a great sense of humor and knew how to laugh at himself.
