	Dawn Redwood Zen Community Portland ME info@meditatein		Dawn Redwood Meditation Group The Dawn Redwood Meditation Group, named after the beautiful dawn redwood tree in A2U2’s courtyard, is a sitting meditation group that meets weekly year-round. Each week one of us chooses an on-line dharma talk to listen to at home. At our meetings, we start by checking in with each other, then sit in meditation for 20 minutes. A walking meditation for 10 minutes follows after which we share our thoughts about the dharma talk. We finish by sitting quietly for another 10-15 minutes. We encourage anyone who might find this a valuable practice to join us. Both church members and non-members are welcome. Every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. For more information, please contact Connie Cross. A Sitting Group of Boundless Way Zen We meet weekly on Tuesday evenings, 7-9:00 P.M. at the Allen Avenue Unitarian Universalist Church in Portland, ME. The schedule for each evening includes a Zen liturgy, two 25 minute sitting periods with walking meditation in between, and a period of study and reflection following. 	Southport Meditation Class Southport info@meditateinli		These classes are a great introduction for those new to Buddha's teachings. We can learn the art of positive thinking and how to meditate; through this we can solve our daily problems and find real peace and happiness in our lives.
