Matteo Oriani

Hello!

My name is Matteo, I am 41 years old, originally from Italy but I have lived the past 10 years in London.

I have worked in the financial industry for a long time, but my need for a purpose was never fulfilled. I then managed to work in sustainability and at the same time firstly studied and then practiced as a counsellor psychologist.

Almost 10 years ago, my issues with insomnia and restlessness drove me to meditation and from this I develop a growing interest in Buddhism.

I am currently travelling long time in south east Asia, I will be soon in Thailand and would like to practice and learn Theravada, that I encountered recently in the UK.

Looking forward to meet friends on a similar path!
