What Is Mindfulness Meditation?
Mindfulness is the ability to sustain attention to what is happening in the present moment without judgement. Simple, but not easy. You may have noticed that your mind is constantly running with thoughts. It's estimated that we have 60,000 to 70,000 thousand thoughts per day - that's about 48 thoughts per waking minute! And, according to a recent study published by Harvard University, we are only aware of what we are thinking about half of the time.
