Opened to Dhamma (with little understanding) when i was a whipper snapper. Started practicing meditation (with a tiny bit more understanding) in 1990 whilst grappling with the dark night of "I've had enough". Finally got the hang of giving myself a break under the compassionate guidance of the late Ven Myokyo-ni (Rinzai Zen Buddhist nun), just before the twin towers event (9/11). Continued with Zen practice (mostly Soto) until 2005 whereby I dedicated myself to Samatha/Vipassana practice until 2024. During this period I was working as a Physiotherapist (Physical Therapist). Published a book in 2022 called: "Intention & Non-Doing in Therapeutic Bodywork" (Singing Dragon publishers). I now teach Dhamma in the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland, Australia and develop with our Sangha during weekly gatherings.

Samatha/Vipassana/Zen. I have found that the most beneficial fruit born from continuing this path/practice has been the gradual development of being able to meet people where they're, consciously or subconsciously, asking to be met. I hope this helps me to espouse the quality of being a friend to those walking the path of Dhamma.
