An Oasis of Calm
Opened in 2004 by The Venerable Lama Jamyang Lekshey, our centre stands on what was previously the site of a Presbyterian Church tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood of Bournemouth.
Slowly but surely our modestly sized centre has flourished, with the number of attendees and volunteers growing all the time.
We believe that our centre will continue to bring the community together, create a good, loving atmosphere and provide a refuge for all.
Weekly classes run at each of these venues. They are an informal introduction to meditation. The course topics are the same as the Monday evening Introductory Classs at Thekchen Centre.
Although the classes are arranged as short courses, you are welcome to drop in at any time, you do not need to book.
