Empty Gate Zen Center was founded in 1977 and is part of the <a href="http://www.kwanumzen.com//">Kwan Um School</a> of Zen. Training in Zen meditation is offered through meditation instruction, morning and evening practice, public talks, teaching interviews, sittings, retreats and workshops. Programs are open to anyone regardless of previous experience.
