Jefferson Tibetan Society

The Jefferson Tibetan Society's primary function is to provide teaching and meditation practice in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, as exemplified by His Holiness the Dalai Lama's teachings. Our resident Lama is Geshe Jampel Thardo from the Drepung Loseling Monastery.
JTS meets on Wednesday evenings for prayer, meditation and teaching, and on Sunday mornings for meditation and contemplation. All sessions are held at the JTS Temple in Charlottesville. Please see the schedule for more information.
