User Profile
The Padmasambhava Buddhist Center was established in 1988 by Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche and Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche, with centers in locations throughout the world, including Tibet, India, Russia, Peurto Rico, and the United States. Highly regarded for many years as leading scholars and practitioners of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism, they are also masters of the Dzogchen teachings and meditation. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche is from the last generation of Tibetan Abbots to have been trained in Tibet before his escape to India in 1959. After many years in India, they began teaching in the United States at the request of His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche, and after some years here founded Padmasambhava Buddhist Centers International.
