It means that all human beings have beautiful seeds in them. Yet these seeds will never germinate if there is no sun to warm them and no water to nourish them. Likewise, unless it is carefully nurtured, a seed of minds (a Buddha-seed) cannot develop itself, and will turn into a waste of talent. Then, how can we grow a beautiful seed in our minds?
