User Profile
If you would like to know something about meditation, please come to us on the first Wednesday of every month. We will explain the basics of Buddhism at the Ulm Buddhist Center at 7 p.m. and then meditate together. The meditation is instructed in German and lasts about 30 minutes. You can just join in. The offer is free. On these evenings there is always an opportunity for questions and discussions. On Wednesday and Friday we meditate at 8 p.m. You are warmly invited!

The Ulm Buddhist Center has existed since 1995. After several moves, it is now located in rented rooms in a central location near Petrusplatz and Glacis Center. Lama Ole Nydahl visited several times and inaugurated the current premises in 2009.Affiliate of The Community of Mindful Living.
The Community of Mindful Living (CML) supports the practice and teachings of mindfulness and mindful living offered by Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. To be mindful means to dwell deeply in the present moment, to be aware of what is going on within and around us. Practicing mindfulness cultivates understanding, love, compassion, and joy. This practice helps us to take care of and transform suffering in our lives and in our society.
