Wat Buddhasamakeedham was established to support the teaching, practice and realization of the Dhamma (the Buddha's teaching) with special emphasis on classical, Theravada Buddhism.
Wat Buddhasamakeedham provides services for the benefit of the whole community, including meditation practice, teachings on Buddhism, a library of books and tapes, and traditional Buddhist cultural activities. Teachings and instruction are offered in English and in the Thai and Lao languages.
Wat Buddhasamakeedham offers weekend and longer retreats for meditators in the summer.
