Wat Mongkol Kothawas, also known as Wat Luang Por Pan, is situated on Sukhumvit Road, Khlong Dan Sub district, Bang Bo District in Samut Prakan. It is situated near Khlong Dan Market. Luang Po Pan, a well-respected monk during King Rama V's reign, stayed at this Temple and improved everything, making it an important temple of the district until now.
